1. About Soul Country

Soul Country is an independent podcast, documentary and roots music publication produced by Ace Production and hosted by Ric Stewart. These Terms and Conditions govern your use of the Soul Country Substack channel, including all written posts, audio recordings, video embeds, images, playlists and associated content published here.

2. Ownership and Copyright

All original content published on this Substack, including but not limited to written articles, show notes, interview transcripts, original audio recordings, video productions and photographs, is the intellectual property of Ace Production and Ric Stewart and is protected by applicable copyright law.

Soul Country does not claim ownership of any third party song titles, compositions, recordings or trademarked artist names referenced editorially within this publication. All such references are made for informational, critical and educational purposes only.

3. Subscriptions and Access

Soul Country offers both free and paid subscription tiers. Free subscribers receive access to selected posts, playlists and show notes. Paid subscribers receive full access to all published content including extended show notes, interview transcripts, video highlights and exclusive editorial content.

Subscription fees are billed through Substack’s payment platform. By subscribing you agree to Substack’s own terms of service in addition to these terms.

All subscription fees are non-refundable except where required by applicable law.

4. Use of Content

You may read, stream and share links to Soul Country content for personal and non-commercial use. You may not reproduce, republish, redistribute, resell or adapt any original Soul Country written content, audio recordings, video productions or images without prior written permission from Ace Production.

Excerpts of no more than 50 words may be quoted for review, commentary or educational purposes provided clear attribution to Soul Country and Ric Stewart is included.

5. Guest Interview Content

Interviews featured on Soul Country are conducted with the knowledge and consent of participants. The recorded and edited versions of those interviews, including audio, video and transcribed excerpts, remain the intellectual property of Ace Production. Soul Country respects the artistic legacy of all interview subjects and will not use interview content in a manner that misrepresents or defames any participant.

6. Playlists and Music References

Playlists curated and published by Soul Country on Spotify and other streaming platforms are editorial in nature and do not constitute reproduction or distribution of the referenced recordings. All streaming is governed by the terms of the respective platform. Soul Country does not host, upload or distribute any third party recorded music.

7. Comments and Community

Soul Country welcomes respectful engagement from subscribers. We reserve the right to remove comments that are abusive, defamatory, spam or otherwise harmful to the community. Repeat violations may result in removal of subscription access without refund.

8. Disclaimers

Soul Country content is provided for informational, entertainment and educational purposes. While every effort is made to ensure accuracy, Ace Production makes no warranties regarding the completeness or accuracy of any historical or biographical information published here.

9. Changes to These Terms

Ace Production reserves the right to update these Terms and Conditions at any time. Continued use of the Soul Country Substack following any update constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
